Our Leadership Advocacy Programmes
The African leadership Group (ALG) is committed to addressing Africa’s social challenges. Through its public benefit organisation, the African Leadership Trust, the ALG has initiated advocacy programmes dedicated to the following causes:
- Youth development: The ALG is home to the L.I.F.E, a group of young people who coined the acronym from the phrase ‘Leadership Inspired From Experience’ and are benefiting from the groups leadership development expertise
- Women empowerment: The ALG hosts ongoing dialogues to celebrate the role of and to empower woman in our society
- Preserving and promoting South Africa’s heritage and leadership contribution to the world through the Mapungubwe Heritage and Leadership Exposition
- Preserving the traditional African leadership experience through the National Wisdom Keepers Initiative
The African Leadership Group’s Advocacy Programmes promotes informed, lasting inter and intra-group dialogue and conversation to help stimulate reconciliation and cohesion. The programme includes a number of highly focused offerings to suit both individuals and organisations. It uses a combination of media to engage different segments of society in debate, research and analysis of leadership issues, concepts and ideas.
